Troubleshooting: Silent Post Problem (Email)

When this type of error occurs an email is sent to the merchant with the subject line: "Silent Post Problem".

The body of the email will be similar to the following:

Subject: WSP Silent Post problem for WSP-SA-MPL-53-29

A problem occurred while connecting to the Silent Post URL for Payment Page ID WSP-SA-MPL-53-29.

The receipt for the transaction for which the Silent Post was being sent is:

For Silent Post, merchant servers are not expected to respond to the transaction results post from First Data Payeezy Gateway but our servers do listen for an automatic confirmation from the merchant server that the post was received. Absence of this confirmation will generate the above error email.

Merchant developers should consult their server logs to confirm that the results post was received from Payeezy Gateway and follow up as necessary.
