FAQ: What Happens if a Recurring Transaction Fails?

If a recurring transaction fails, it will not execute again until the next scheduled date in the recurring plan.   You can fix this by following these steps: 

  1. Create a new  plan with a frequency of "Once"
  2. “Copy” the transaction from the current plan to the Once plan
  3. Correct the transaction (card number or expiration date)
  4. Have the transaction execute.
  5. Based upon the result, update the original plan with the correct info.
