Occasionally, a case arises where a card needs to be reprocessed when a transaction was initially declined or when a transaction encountered an error scenario. In Payeezy Gateway, the Real-time Payment manager can be used to perform this task by clicking on the transaction in question under the "Transactions" tab. Here, a link will be displayed in the "Actions" area for the transaction to perform the reprocessing. Note that transactions that have been successfully processed cannot be reprocessed in this fashion.
When re-processing a transaction, the original amount cannot be modified, nor the credit card number. The expiry date and reference information can be modified however. This is useful in the event that a customer's card expiry has changed or was incorrect.
