Following batch settlement, it is possible that First Data may request some records be updated to reflect transactions that cannot be settled by the First Data host. When this happens, affected transactions will have the following properties:
- a status of "Transaction Not Completed"
- an ETG response of "77 - Reversal Complete"
- the transaction will be classified as an "Error"
If this error occurs you will need to correct it and resubmit the transaction.
This transaction status information can also be obtained by logging into the Realtime Payment Manager and using the "Transactions" tab or by using the Search & Reporting API.
